Julian Legg Architecture is a design-focused studio committed to creating simple, beautiful architecture. The practice prioritises functional interventions that respond to complex and sensitive contexts, using a restrained palette of natural and enduring materials.

The studio provides a comprehensive range of architectural services - from feasibility studies through to construction and product design - with service packages customised to suit each client’s needs. By intentionally limiting the number of projects it undertakes, the studio ensures every commission receives a high level of professional, attentive service.

The practice was founded by Julian Legg in 2024, following fifteen years of experience at several award-winning firms in both New Zealand and Australia. He holds a Master of Architecture with Honours from the University of Auckland.

Prior to establishing the studio, Julian served as Design Director at one of Melbourne’s leading residential practices, where he led a small team and oversaw a wide range of projects. This role demonstrated his strengths in communication, project management, and design.
