Julian Legg Architecture is a design-focused practice dedicated to delivering refined and enduring architecture. Based on the Bellarine Peninsula, the studio primarily operates across rural Victoria and metropolitan Melbourne.

Emphasising functional, site-responsive design, the practice employs a restrained palette of natural and robust materials to produce work that is both considered and purposeful.

Collaboration underpins the design process, enabling the development of a shared vision and resulting in thoughtful, contextually appropriate solutions suited to contemporary life.

The studio provides a comprehensive suite of architectural services - from feasibility studies through to construction and product design - with service packages tailored to suit each client’s requirements. By intentionally limiting the number of projects it undertakes, the practice ensures a high level of professional rigour and attention throughout every stage of the commission.

The practice was founded by Julian Legg in 2024, following fifteen years of experience at several award-winning firms in both New Zealand and Australia. He holds a Master of Architecture with Honours from the University of Auckland.

Prior to establishing the studio, Julian served as Design Director at one of Melbourne’s leading residential practices, where he led a small team and oversaw a wide range of projects. This role demonstrated his strengths in communication, project management, and design.
